Quite possibly my favourite gigs are at Nursing Homes. I have been hosting Karaoke at numerous Nursing Homes in the Tri State Area for years. It is so gratifying see people come to life when their favourite song comes on and they get to sing it. The Theme of today’s party was a Country Western theme. While i did put on songs from Willie Nelson (On the Road Again), Johnny Cash (I Walk the Line), John Denver (Take Me Home, Country Roads) and Glen Campbell (Rhinestone Cowboy) I also put on Songs ranging from artists like Frank Sinatra to The Village People! The Staff and residents here were so nice, fun and musical! The hour flew by with residents singing every song with me(i bring a large screen and projector so the residents can see the words clearly)I also bring 5 wireless microphones so many people can sing together at once!!
